Design Approach
Upon completion, what was delivered provided my client with a range of concepts that utilize various design
elements to modernize their baseball team's promotional presence. Each concept produced takes information
essential to the game being played and blends it with clear communication and visual engagement.
Before I designed, I researched and analyzed lineup graphics posted
by other major sports organizations, as well as independent ones.
This research provided me with characteristics that successful baseball
promotional graphics had in common, and guided me to understanding
which design elements played the most important roles in achieving my goal.
Soon after research concluded, my design strategy was established: prioritize
clarity, visual engagement, and choices for direction.
I created three different
design concepts with
these priorities in mind.
Each one is laid out
differently, and also uses
different color palettes
with unique approaches
to hierarchy.
Each concept prioritizes a
unique design element.

Developed a series of concepts for a local baseball team’s gameday graphics aimed at refreshing and modernizing
the team’s visual identity. The project focused on creating clear, engaging promotional material that effectively
delivered crucial game-day information while establishing a refreshed brand presence.
